Gorillaz Portland Concert reviews
U2 was fantastic! Spartan Stadium was horrible!
I stuck around to see Gorillaz, since the tickets were pretty pricey, and after all, they are Florence + the Machine. Loved it! They did a lot of classic songs as well as new stuff. Staging was a knock out. Flo was great, too short but great! Only thing is, I will NEVER go to a concert at Spartan Stadium again. Bono's voice is awesome! Gorillaz put on a phenomenal show. Venue was awful! It looked like I was at a Tiger game rather than a Gorillaz concert. However, I went to this concert just to see Gorillaz. Drive is a long one, no alcohol, no dancing, bunches of old people. Seating has a lot to be desired, especially for almost 6 hours. Brutal!
